The compost infrared biodegradation instrument M1200 Plus has been installed and debugged at Huazhong Agricultural University.
The compost infrared biodegradation instrument M1200 Plus independently developed by TOMOGEN Biology has recently been successfully installed and debugged at Huazhong Agricultural University - Hubei Hongshan Laboratory, and has officially been put into scientific research use.
The Thmorgan M1200 Plus Biodegradation Analyzer for Infrared Method of Biocomposting meets the testing requirements of GB/T19277.1-2011 standard. It adopts a motion scanning design, capable of simultaneously detecting two gases, carbon dioxide and methane. It can collect concentration data with high resolution and high frequency, and display real-time concentration and total data. It has the function of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Moreover, it has a cloud platform for remote data access, and a dual flowmeter design ensures accurate and reliable flow rate detection.
Hubei Hongshan Laboratory of Huazhong Agricultural University, in response to the major demands of the agricultural and food industry chain, focuses on biotechnology innovation in the seed industry and conducts fundamental and applied research on the genetic improvement of agricultural organisms to promote sustainable agricultural development. The "Agricultural Biomass Value-added Utilization Technology and Equipment Team" of the College of Engineering at this university, starting from lignocellulosic biomass, has long been engaged in advanced manufacturing technology research related to the sustainable development of future society, covering multiple disciplines and cross-cutting fields such as high-value utilization of agricultural waste, pulp and paper, bioenergy, forest products chemistry, and wood processing. The main research directions include, but are not limited to, comprehensive high-value utilization of straw, fully biodegradable agricultural mulch films, lignin synthesis and structural modification, high-strength carbon fiber manufacturing, functional nanofiber and nanoparticle manufacturing, synthesis and functionalization of artificial plant cell walls, functional application of nanocellulose, next-generation energy storage technology, next-generation clean energy technology, and clean water technology. The TOMOGEN M1200 PLus infrared biodegradation instrument for biological composting, with its outstanding stability and high degree of automation, can significantly enhance the accuracy of experimental data and research efficiency, providing strong technical support for in-depth research on the degradation mechanism of biodegradable materials, assessment of their environmental behavior and ecological effects.
The after-sales engineer of TOMOGEN Biotech provided detailed training to the project leader on equipment operation, experimental procedures and data analysis. The teachers expressed their satisfaction and highly recognized TOMOGEN's products!
