5. Grinding and crushing suitable for volatile samples, including coal, oil shale, wax products, and the like;

6. This instrument can grind more than a thousand different substances.

II. Product Features

1. National Invention Patent: Certified by CE;

2. Vertical oscillation: High stability, thorough sample crushing;

3. High efficiency: Sample crushing completed within 2 minutes;

4. High throughput: Up to 2 × 96 samples can be processed at one time;

5. Large processing capacity: Two 50 ml steel canisters can crush large-volume samples;

6. Wide range of adapters available: 2×48×2ml adapters, 2×24×5ml adapters, and 2×10×7ml adapters can be freely selected;

7. High safety: Equipped with a safety door and a safety lock;

8. No cross-contamination: The sample tubes remain fully sealed throughout the crushing process, thereby preventing cross-contamination.

9. Low Noise: The instrument operates at a sound level below 70 dB, ensuring it does not interfere with other experiments or instruments.

III. Product Principle

Vertical oscillation involves high-frequency reciprocating motion of the oscillating system, causing the frozen sample inside the grinding tube to collide repeatedly with the grinding balls. The resulting grinding shear force and impact force completely break down the tissue.

IV. Technical Parameters

   1. Host parameters:

1.1 Vertical oscillation frequency: 500–1800 times/min;

1.2 Grinding time: 10 seconds to 99 minutes, adjustable by the user;

1.3 Number of grinding platforms: 2;

1.4 Grinding ball materials: stainless steel, chrome steel, zirconia, tungsten carbide, quartz sand;

1.5 Grinding ball diameter: 0.5–30 mm;

1.6 Fixture stroke: 3.7 cm (vertical);

1.7 The adapter is low-temperature-resistant and can be immersed in liquid nitrogen for more than 30 minutes.

1.8 The power-off-on-the-door function ensures safety;

1.9 Power: 400W;

1.10 Power supply: 3-pin socket, 220-240V, 50Hz;

1.11 Weight: 62 kg;

1.12 Dimensions: 38 cm (W) × 46 cm (D) × 50 cm (H);

2. Adapter parameters:

    The adapter is used to hold the grinding tube containing grinding balls and the sample. After positioning it correctly in the middle of the alloy fixture, place it onto the device for use. Two specifications are available: 48 wells (2 ml), with 24 wells on the positive side (5 ml) and 10 wells on the negative side (7 ml).

3. Grinding tube ( Can) Parameters:

The grinding jar is used to hold grinding balls and samples and is directly clamped onto the main unit for operation. The grinding tube is used to hold grinding balls and samples. A deep-well plate can serve as an adapter, directly holding both samples and grinding balls, and can be mounted onto the main unit for grinding.

4. Grinding ball parameters:

Grinding balls are used to help thoroughly break down samples. They come in various specifications and can be selected according to your needs.

V. Product Configuration

1. One host machine;

2. One set of alloy fixtures;

3. One set of grinding balls;

4. Adapter:

48-hole 2ml adapter 1 pair (standard);

24/10-hole 5/7ml adapter, 1 pair (optional);

1 pair of 50ml grinding jars (optional);

6. Operating Steps

1. Sequentially add the prepared samples and grinding balls into the grinding tube.

2. Place the grinding tube containing the prepared sample into the adapter.

3. Place the adapter containing the sample into liquid nitrogen and freeze for several minutes.

4. Place the frozen sample and adapter in the middle of the fixture and adjust their positions accordingly.

5. Place the fixture on the sample stage, align it using the positioning groove, tighten the vertical positioning knob, and return the safety lock to its original position.

6. Close the machine’s safety door;

7. Set the vibration frequency and vibration duration;

8. Start the machine and begin the crushing process;

9. After the machine has completely stopped vibrating, turn it off, open the safety door, and remove the sample.

10. Return the instrument to its designated location;

VII. Precautions

1. The instrument should be used in a dry and well-ventilated environment.

2. Place the samples symmetrically in the sample holder, ensuring that the sample holder is balanced.

3. Before closing the safety door, ensure that the fixture is fully secured and there is no looseness.

4. When setting the oscillation frequency, do not exceed the maximum range of 1800 times/min.

5. When freezing the sample, care should be taken to prevent liquid nitrogen from splashing.
