II. Product Features

III. Product Principle

Microorganisms consume oxygen in the culture bottle, producing carbon dioxide, which is absorbed by quicklime, reducing the pressure in the culture bottle, causing a pressure difference between the two sides of the pressure gauge, leading to the connection of the electrolytic circuit, and the copper sulfate solution in the electrolytic bottle is electrolyzed to produce oxygen, which is supplemented to the culture bottle, so that the pressure in the culture bottle gradually returns to the initial level. The amount of electricity passed into the electrolytic bottle is proportional to the amount of oxygen produced, and the coulometer accurately monitors the amount of electricity passed into the electrolytic bottle to calculate the oxygen consumption, and the ratio of the actual oxygen consumption to the theoretical oxygen consumption is the biodegradation rate of the detected sample.
